Waiuku Zero Waste is a recycling station built for the Franklin Community.
True to our name, our aim is to help Franklin sort its waste so that eventually no waste goes to landfill.
We are the hub for zero waste education and waste transformation. We sort, sift and shift “rubbish” into resources, making money and jobs locally.
We also sell cool stuff at the Junktion – open Thurs-Sun 8.30am to 4pm.
Contracted to Auckland Council, we are pioneers of the new rubbish
revolution.
On site we are your hub for workshops, tool library, sorting
your rubbish, and reselling local resources. From and to the local community.
