Upcycle Your Wardrobe – 2-Part Workshop Series

Upcycle Your Wardrobe – 2-Part Workshop Series
Sunday 21 June & Sunday 28 June
10am – 12pm
$10 for both sessions
Do you have clothes hanging in your wardrobe that no longer feel like “you”? Maybe they don’t quite fit right anymore, feel a bit plain, need repairing, or simply haven’t been worn in years — but you’re not ready to part with them.
Instead of buying new, come learn how to transform what you already own into something you’ll love wearing again.
This relaxed two-part workshop series is all about giving clothing a second life through creativity, repair, and simple alterations. Bring along a few garments from your wardrobe and explore ideas such as:
- Simple alterations and fit adjustments
- Adding embellishments or creative details
- Visible mending and repairs
- Turning unloved pieces into something fresh and wearable again
- Building confidence to experiment with your clothing
Whether you’re completely new to sewing and upcycling or already enjoy crafting and making, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, practical, and inspiring.
You don’t need to be “good at sewing” — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to have a go.
What to Bring
- 2–4 clothing items you’d like to work on
- Any fabric scraps, trims, buttons, lace, patches, or embellishments you already have at home (optional)
- Basic sewing kit if you have one
Cost
$10 total for both sessions.
Spaces are limited, so registrations are required.
