School Holiday Workshop – What’s in Your Backyard?

July 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

Ever wondered what creatures are visiting your backyard after dark? Drop in and discover how to identify the wildlife and pest species living around your home using a range of simple monitoring tools.

Explore tracking tunnels, chew cards, paw prints, bite marks, and trap tunnels, and learn how these tools can help you understand what is happening in your backyard. We’ll also cover the basics of backyard trapping and how pest control helps protect our precious native wildlife and you’ll get to build your own trap tunnel to take home.

This hands-on session is perfect for curious kids, families, and anyone interested in nature, biodiversity, and conservation.

Drop in anytime between 10am and 12noon and explore and create at your own pace.
