DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed Sewing Repair Circle at Waiuku Zero Waste. \nThis is a hands-on community session where you can bring along clothing or small textile items that need a little attention — a missing button\, a torn seam\, a loose hem\, or a favourite item that deserves a second life. \nWhether you’re a complete beginner or already comfortable with a sewing machine\, our friendly repair experts will be there to help you learn simple repair techniques and build confidence in mending your own clothes. \nBring along:\n– Clothing or small textile items to repair\n– Any matching thread\, buttons\, zips\, or patches you already have\n– Your own sewing kit if you’d like (sewing machines\, and basic equipment like scissors\, thread\, pins\, needles will also be available to use) \nSuitable for Adults and teens. Beginners welcome. \nWhy repair?\nRepairing clothing is one of the easiest ways to reduce waste\, save money\, and get more wear from the items you already own.
