SUMMARY:Waiuku Repair Cafe - final one for 2026
DESCRIPTION:This will be our final Repair Cafe for 2026 \nLet’s finish the year on a high note! Join us for our final Repair Café of 2026 as we celebrate another year of repairing\, learning new skills and keeping useful things out of landfill. \nIt’s been a fantastic year of community-powered repair\, made possible by our wonderful volunteer repairers and everyone who has brought along something in need of a little TLC. \nWhether it’s a favourite item of clothing\, a household belonging\, a toy\, a bag or a bike\, bring along something broken\, damaged or in need of repair and our volunteer team will do their best to help give it another lease on life. \nA little Christmas bonus!\nTo celebrate the year\, everyone who brings an item along to be repaired at this month’s Repair Café will go in the draw to WIN a Waste-Free Christmas Hamper! \nSo come along\, say hello\, get something fixed and help us celebrate the difference our community has made together. \nA few things to know: \n\nBring along a small item that needs repairing.\nOur volunteer repairers will assess your item and do their best to help.\nRepairs are undertaken on a best-efforts basis\, so we can’t guarantee every item can be fixed.\nPlease allow time for your repair and enjoy a cuppa and a chat while you’re here!\n\nBut even if you don’t have anything that needs repairing this month\, you’re still very welcome to come along! If you’ve joined us at a Repair Café at any point this year\, you’ve been part of our story and our impact. We’ll be reflecting on the year\, sharing our impact report and celebrating everything we’ve achieved together – and we’d love you to be part of it! \nOur Repair Cafés will take a summer break after this event and return at the end of February 2027. \nWe’d love to see you there! \nRepair. Reuse. Keep good things going.
